History

High Performance Center was born as a virtual meeting point between professional musicians and the most recognized soloists on the world music scene. With an extensive trajectory bringing the music of the great concert halls to all audiences, Filarmonía de Madrid adopts new spaces and creates High Performance Center.

2000, Madrid

Filarmonía de Madrid was born in 2000, when its founders and directors, Pascual Osa and Elena Menor created this entity that has established itself as a benchmark within the music scene in Spain.

For more than twenty years, Filarmonía de Madrid has brought music to all corners of the national territory through its Orchestra and Choir. During this time, he has developed initiatives such as music classes for all ages or general rehearsals open to the public. To this, the participatory concerts are added, in which people outside the world of music can feel part of the show for a day.

Filarmonía’s continuous commitment to new technologies has been boosted in the last year by the current situation. This has made it possible to perfect the virtual training program, which includes singing and instrument classes and conducting seminars; in addition to implementing a repertoire preparation model that combines face-to-face classes with vocal technique for choral singing and string rehearsals, both online, for the Philharmonic Choir.

The success of the online Philharmonic program, added to the links created during these years with the great soloists, has led to the founding of a highly advanced center with all musical specialties, a pioneer in this sector and with the best teachers worldwide on their respective instruments.
